Still Waters of the Yakima Valley – Original Oil on Canvas, 20 x 36 inch
Inspiration into this Painting: While enjoying a quiet drive along the winding South Canyon Road, I was stunned by a powerful display of light and shadow in the Yakima Canyon. This canvas recreates that awe-inspiring contrast—where the darkness of an incoming storm meets a vibrant blue sky, and the golden sun strikes the towering ravine hills. Running through the center of the piece is the completely still water of the Yakima River, anchoring the dramatic sky with a sense of profound, quiet, surreal peace.
About the Painting: An original 20x36 inch oil painting on thing canvas. The edges of the canvas are one inch deep perfect for future framing or displaying as it. The edges of the painting are painted ivory black. The painting is wired and ready to hang, right out of the box. Signed on the front with the year of creation. Titled, year of creation and autographed on the back with indication of being original on the canvas. Additionally, the artwork comes with a serialized, signed Certificate of Authenticity. Note: Being a classical oil painting (and not acrylic) the final oil out and varnishing has not been applied; this would jeopardize the longevity of the artwork in the curing polymerization process. This will need to be accomplished by myself or another professional no sooner than 9 months after the purchase. This will lock in the vibrant colors and protect the painting for multiple generations to enjoy. Detailed care instructions are provided during this process.
